The Callaway C7 is quite simply one of the most exciting automobiles in existence. Built from the ground up the C7 featured a front mid-engine configuration and a carbon fiber chassis.  It was initially designed as a GT1 race car to challenge the world’s best in endurance racing with the possibility of being adapted for road use.

The Deutschman-designed bodywork had to satisfy the rigourous aerodynamic requirements of a race-winning car as well as the aesthetic demands which are vital to the success of a road-going sports car.

The C7’s maiden appearance was as participant in the 1997 Daytona 24-hour endurance race.
