Amazingly, it took Deutschman Design and Callaway Cars only 9 months to design and launch a trilogy (Coupe, Cabrio and Speedster) of its most striking and advanced car series to date, the C16. The first to be released was the Coupe which was announced in December 2006 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The Cabrio launch followed in April 2007 at the New York Auto Show. Finally, the crowning glory, the Speedster was unveiled on the exclusive Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August 2007, to unanimous acclaim. The C16 Speedster won GM’s Best Interior award at the 2007 SEMA show- a fitting tribute to a remarkable team effort. |
